STUCLOPER PROJECT (2020)
Stucloper, Oil Pastels, Tape, Paper, Ink, Paint, Spray Paint, Ballpoint Pen, Wood, Post-It Notes
This project started with only knowing that I wanted to be angry in my work. In the beginning I did not know why or at who the anger was targeted. Through making, it became clear what it all was about.
The work was a reflection on a bad relationship, and the person in question was part of the audience. This is why the work had to be everywhere, inescapable. I needed everyone to know what I thought, especially him.
I made this work on unpractical materials such as stucloper to show some kind of struggle in the making, and to emphazise this idea of overcoming.
The work consists out of several smaller works, all made in the same working period.
